If you have questions about the provincial Employment & Income Assistance (EIA), Manitoba Barriers For Employment (MBFE), or Manitoba Supports for Persons with a Disability (MSPD) programs, CUHC can:

• Provide a list of what you will need to apply for EIA, MBFE, or MSPD
• Go over your EIA or MSPD budget to see if there are other benefits you could be getting
• Review letters and correspondence you received from EIA, MBFE, or MSPD
• Possibly help get information from the department
• Discuss the possibility of appealing a decision from the department at the Social Security Appeals Board (SSAB)
• Possibly represent you at, or help you prepare to represent yourself, at a SSAB hearing

When you meet with us

Please bring any letters or documents relating to your Employment and Income Assistance case when you come to your appointment with us. This would include any letters or documents from the Manitoba government or your physician.
