Need help with Employment Insurance?
If you have questions about the federal Employment Insurance (EI) program, CUHC can:
- Discuss your situation to help consider if you are eligible for EI benefits
- Review letters you received from Service Canada, including a Denial Letter or Repayment Letter
- Possibly help complete and submit a Request for Reconsideration form to Service Canada
- Possibly help get information from Service Canada about your EI application or appeal status
- Possibly represent you at, or help you prepare to represent yourself, at a Board of Appeals hearing.
When you meet with us
Please bring any letters or documents relating to your Employment Insurance claim when you come to your appointment with us. This would include your record of employment (often called a ‘separation slip’) and any letters from the federal government.
