Community Unemployed Help Centre offers free assistance to people who are appealing Employment Insurance decisions.
Our staff will go over a decision about your Employment Insurance claim with you. We will tell you if there are reasons why you should appeal. If there are reasons, we will help you prepare for the appeal and represent you at the appeal. There is no cost for this service.

When you meet with us
Please bring any letters or documents relating to your Employment Insurance claim when you come to your appointment with us. This would include your record of employment (often called a ‘separation slip’) and any letters from the federal government.
